Princeton Meadow Preschool provides a loving, Christian environment that enhances the gifts, needs, and learning style of each child.

Our programs are designed to help children develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills through a wide variety of age-appropriate experiences.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to guide learning by tapping into each child’s natural curiosity. Our emphasis is on learning through play and uses a multi sensory approach. Our programs are balanced offering a variety of activities to encourage development of the whole child. We offer a low teacher:student ratio, which allows us to provide individualized attention and meet the needs of each child. All of our programs offer students time to work in both large and small groups.

Home and School Communication

Communication between home and school is an essential aspect to a successful school experience. Parents will receive monthly newsletters and calendars from their child’s teacher keeping them informed of the themes and activities happening in the classroom. Parent-Teacher conferences will be held in February. We host many family-oriented events throughout the year such as our Costume Parade, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Sing-a long, and International Day. We also offer opportunities for families to come together and become involved in community service.

Our Programs

2 1/2 Year-Old Programs   M, W, F – 9 am-11:30 am   |   T, Th – 9 am-11:30 am

Our 2 1/2 year-old program provides a loving environment for children to explore their independence. We focus on social interactions through learning to play, work, and communicate with other children. Children are given the opportunity to explore, question, practice, and pretend in their discovery of the world around them.

3 Year-Old Programs  M,W,F – 9am-12pm  |  M-F – 9am-12pm  |  M-F – 12:30pm-3pm

Our 3 year-old programs continue to build social skills and provide opportunities for self-discovery. Children are introduced to early literacy skills, such as letter and number recognition. The children enjoy shared story time, play time, and a variety of large group, small group, and self-directed activities.

4 Year-Old Programs   M-F – 9am-12pm  |  M-F – 12:30pm-3:30pm

Our 4 year-old program focuses on developing the skills needed for kindergarten. The children continue to build their social skills while becoming increasingly independent. They are encouraged to develop their fine motor and listening skills. They will explore letter and number recognition, which are reinforced through activities designed to promote early literacy skills in language and math. Group times include opportunities for singing, art activities, movement stories and sharing. Self help skills are emphasized providing a sense of confidence entering kindergarten.
