Ken Smith

Pastor Smith has been serving as Senior Pastor since the church’s beginning in 1978. Beginning with a small group, then meeting in various locations around Princeton, he helped to establish the church in it’s current location in 1989. Ken graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1978 and received his Doctorate of Ministry degree from Covenant Seminary in 1996. In addition, he has a B.A. from King’s College and M.A. from University of Northern Colorado.
Ken’s vision for the church in Princeton has led to its growth over the years, with a firm belief in reaching out to our community with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Biography of Rev. Dr. Kenneth Smith

Born: Yonkers New York. Married: Carol Springer. Children: Nathan, Benjamin, Thomas and Mary. Captain: United States Air Force; Education: Bachelor of Arts from The King’s College; Masters Degree from the University of Northern Colorado; Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary; and Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Seminary, St. Louis. Senior Pastor Princeton Meadow Church, 1978 to present; Who’s Who in Religion, 1988; Chairmen of the Board, Alpha Pregnancy Center, 1983 to 2004; The King’s College, Alumni of the Year 1993. Member of the Board of ECHO Cuba, 2001 traveled to Cuba to coordinate with the Cuban government the delivery humanitarian aid through ECHO Cuba; Speaker on the daily radio program, A Firm Foundation; Regional Coordinator for Church Planting of the Presbyterian Church in America, 1993-2004 (Coordinated 145 new church starts in the northeast); May 2004, climbed to base camp of Mount Everest, Nepal; June 2006, delivered paper on Church and State at the Oxford Union, Oxford, England; August 2008 began church planting in Kenya, Africa among the Maasai tribe; Chairman of the Board Princeton Meadow Preschool 2008-present; Chairman of the Board Highpoint Community Development 2009- present; Moderator of the Religious Leaders of West Windsor 2014-present.
