Are you alive?

Who is the head of our Church?

Polity is the word to describe how a church is governed.  There is Congregational polity where all of the decisions of the church are made at congregational meetings where all of the members vote.  There is Episcopal polity where a Bishop oversees a number of congregations and makes major decisions for the congregation.  There is Presbyterian polity where the congregation elects representatives from the congregation to oversee the decisions of the local church.

My Prayer For You Today

Ephesians 1:16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which God has called you. I pray also that you may know that the power working in you is like the power that raised Christ from the dead.

Why has God chosen you?

No matter how hard I try to be good there is something in me that knows I have never been good enough.  I haven’t been good enough to deserve my family.  I haven’t been good enough to deserve the gift of life.
